How Do I Order Custom Furniture?

Vermont Tree Goods builds unique custom furniture and installations for a wide variety of homes and businesses.  Email info@vermonttreegoods.com or call (802) 453 – 4544 to initiate the custom order process. Here’s what will happen if you decide to work with us to design your custom piece:

1. Gather any information you have about the piece of furniture you’d like:  This might include photos of pieces that inspire you. What range of dimensions would work for you?  Do you prefer a certain species of hardwood?  Does uniquely charactered wood appeal to you or straight-grained?  If we are crafting a bench or table for you, have you thought about the type of base or legs you want?  It’s also fine if you don’t have a strong vision – we’re excited to provide as much assistance as you like in the design process.

2. Contact Us: Visit our Showroom at 27 Main Street in Bristol, VT, email info@vermonttreegoods.com, or call (802) 453 – 4544 to share your ideas with us.

3. Select Your Wood: After hearing your ideas, we will identify the best options from our huge selection of Vermont-grown Vermont-milled hardwood slabs.  We can send you photos for your approval or you may make an appointment to see the wood in person and make your final choice.

4. Finalize Your Order: When you approve the final design we can determine the final cost of the piece.  You’ll then put down a 50% deposit, giving our craftspeople the go-ahead to start their work.  Installation and delivery, if desired, will be factored into the final price.  The remaining 50% is to be paid upon completion, prior to being shipped.
